Lucinda Lambton is a titled lady (Lady Worsthorne) with an interest in history and architecture in particular. She is a photographer, journalist, and author and continues to write books along with articles for various publications.

For a time she presented programs for television (BBC, ITV, and Channel 4). Her presentation style is captivating as she passes on information in a personal, informed and almost poetic way that seems to stem from a connection and genuine passion. She makes things interesting without dumbing-down the language, and her well spoken and very English manner lifts the narrative as she describes and muses over people and places from the past.

Her historical knowledge and sense of humour brings events and stories alive with fascinating detail, along with historical trivia and eccentricity in areas of social history and architecture that are often missed or overlooked.

Buildings created as homes for animals, unconventional design, odd, or not so glamorous subjects are all covered with the same exuberant enthusiasm as given to the more obvious and conventional history subjects.
